Joint Cooperation Agreement with the Ministry of Industry and Minerals – Industrial Research and Development Authority – 2023

In 2023, the Iraqi Pharmacy Academy signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Industry and Minerals – the Industrial Research and Development Authority, which represents the scientific arm of the Ministry through its advanced research and technical centers. The agreement aims to establish joint training, scientific, and research programs, and to develop applied projects that strengthen the linkage between academia and the industrial sector, fostering innovation and knowledge transfer. The cooperation also includes the exchange of technical expertise, utilization of specialized laboratories and research centers, and the implementation of joint initiatives that support sustainable industrial development. This step aligns with the Academy’s vision to expand its national partnerships and enhance integration between academic institutions and the industrial sector, contributing to scientific capacity building and the advancement of Iraq’s knowledge-based economy.
